[when it comes to life, Chrollo's eyes widen like a fascinated child and he leans forward to examine it more closely. a transportation device? he can think of a few uses for that already.]
I would have never guessed. How did you figure it out?
[reaching out, if the spider will allow, he'll pet it with a finger. true, he'd picked up the robot for aesthetic alone - so to hear it's so usefull genuinely makes him happy.]
[Chibi smiles when Chrollo pets the spider's head; the spider itself is happy to oblige. So Chrollo has a soft side for spiders? Chibi can understand that; he has a similar thing for fish. All people have their biases, he supposes.]
Simple enough; when I took it apart, after I got past the traps, I found this. [There's a latch his fingers find, hidden within one of the spider's tiny niches, and it pops open to reveal tiny, secured inserts.]
I suppose you could strap something to his back, if you wished to transport something larger.
A camera would be a good idea, just a small one; you may even be able to strap one into one of his package ports. [Chibi nods.] He's very quiet, at least.
[But when Chrollo thanks him, Chibi's definitely charmed; he scratches the back of his head sheepishly and grins.] And thank you for trusting me with the opportunity. --Ah, and for the coffee. That is what has been sustaining me while I figure how the hell to get that other box open.
[later, he'll think up an appropriate name for the spider, but for now he's just happy it's here. to hear that the box's been a mystery intrigues him more than disappoints, actually.]

Or maybe even a small camera if you needed someone to scout ahead for a reason.
[and then he looks back up at Chibi, smiling in a way that's probably real. probably.]
Thank you for this, both agreeing to look into it and the extra modifications on him.
[someone might say that thanks wasn't enough, but with the fact that Chrollo had agreed to pay for this, that covers the spaces thanks alone can't.]
