He's a sneaky little spider who keeps his eyes and ears open everywhere, a valuable resource especially considering he has been here longer. Also that he has more patience. Hisoka finds the whining naïveté of most of the other refugees intolerably boring, difficult to listen past their muttering and moaning. Chrollo's description of most of them fits what he has experienced thus far, but he takes the reminder to listen to them to heart. Wherever that is.

[it's very nice, Hisoka being quiet and listening. it means Chrollo doesn't lose his generous mood and drop the subjects as quickly as he might. like this, he's more inclined to answer questions, give up more of the information that he knows Hisoka doesn't spend the time to try and gather. it requires patience to sift through the useless complaints and the blind heroics, the ones who think just being unhappy is enough fuel for CERES to give half of a shit towards changing anything. patience, or rather, time itself, happens to be something Chrollo currently has a lot of. and the result was useful information, salvaged like gold dust from the dirt.]
